# About Neon Buzzline

Neon Buzzline is a small set of free tools for making words glow: a neon sign maker, an LED marquee and a giant concert sign for your phone, and a CSS glow generator for web pages.

## How it works

Everything happens in your browser. The neon sign is drawn as an SVG for the preview and the SVG download, and painted on a canvas for the PNG. The marquee turns your message into rows of dots on a canvas, and the concert sign measures your words to find the biggest size that fits your screen. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, and there is no account to make.

## The fonts

The lettering comes from open-source fonts served by this site: Tilt Neon, Monoton, Neonderthaw, Exo 2 and Asap under the SIL Open Font License, and Yellowtail under the Apache License. The neon faces load only when a tool needs them.

## Who makes it

Neon Buzzline is an independent site with no adverts and no sign-up. It belongs to a family of small single-purpose tool sites, listed at the bottom of every page. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, as the [privacy page](https://neonbuzzline.buzz/privacy/) explains.
